Very high flow jobs, such as large-scale flood irrigation, may still suit a different approach. We look at your daily volume and timing and tell you honestly whether solar will do the job.
The most useful details are the bore depth, standing water level, casing diameter and tested yield, usually from the driller's records. We also need the height from the bore to the tank and the length of the pipe run. If records are missing, we can still start the design, but the pump choice may need confirming once the bore is inspected.
It keeps pumping on bright overcast days at a reduced rate and stops in heavy cloud and at night. That is why the tank is the key storage: a well-sized tank carries you through short spells of poor weather. Where water is critical, we can discuss a larger array, a bigger tank or a backup power input for extended cloudy periods.
Solar panels commonly carry long performance warranties and keep producing for decades, typically losing around 0.4-0.55% of output a year. Pumps and controllers have shorter lives that depend on water quality, sand in the bore and how hard they work.
