A cash-flow model of solar and battery options for your property, including incentives, tariffs, panel degradation and cautious, expected and optimistic scenarios.
From $199 (Per property), including GST. Indicative starting price: the final fixed price is confirmed in writing after a site assessment.
A simple payback figure hides a lot. The return on solar and a battery depends on the upfront cost after incentives, how much energy you use yourself, future tariffs, panel degradation, battery performance over time and what you would otherwise pay. If you are comparing options or planning finance, you need to see the numbers year by year.
Our Solar + Battery ROI Report builds a cash-flow model for your property. We compare solar only, a battery only where you already have solar, and solar with a battery, across different tariff and usage scenarios. You see estimated yearly savings, cumulative cash flow and payback for each option. The report starts from $199 per property. This is an indicative starting price; the final fixed price is confirmed in writing before we begin, based on the number of options and scenarios.
We build our models on conservative, clearly stated assumptions, so you can test them rather than trust a single headline number. You can also use the report to compare quotes on a like-for-like basis. If you proceed with us, the report fee is credited against your installation, which starts with a real in-home site assessment. Blue Energy Solar is a New Energy Tech Approved Seller.
Homeowners and small businesses who want a detailed financial comparison before committing to solar, a battery or both.
The assumptions we use. Panels commonly lose around 0.4-0.55% of their output a year, and LFP batteries are commonly warranted for 10 years. STCs discount new solar by roughly $1,700-$1,800 on a typical 6.6 kW system in 2026, stepping down each 1 January, and the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program offers roughly 30% off a battery installed with solar, stepping down every 1 January and 1 July. Feed-in tariffs in NSW are commonly a few cents per kWh, far below the 30-45 c/kWh commonly paid for grid electricity.
Future tariffs are uncertain, which is why we model scenarios. Confirm incentive values on the official pages before signing.
