A home energy management system that coordinates your solar, battery, EV charger, hot water and big appliances, installed and set up with app control by our team.
From $990 (Per home, installed and set up), including GST. Indicative starting price: the final fixed price is confirmed in writing after a site assessment.
With feed-in tariffs now commonly only a few cents per kWh, most of the value of solar comes from using it yourself. A home energy management system (HEMS) measures what your panels produce and what your home uses, then decides when to charge the battery, top up the EV, heat water or run the pool pump. Instead of watching an app and switching things manually, your home follows rules you set.
We design the system around the equipment you already have, install the metering and control hardware, and set up the app with you. Pricing starts from $990 per home, installed and set up. This is an indicative starting price; the final fixed price is confirmed in writing after we check compatibility and your switchboard.
We install the hybrid inverters, batteries and EV chargers that a HEMS controls, including Sigenergy, GoodWe, Fox ESS and Sungrow systems, so we know where integration works well and where it doesn't. If your inverter's own app already does enough, we will tell you. We are a New Energy Tech Approved Seller with $20 million public liability cover, and all electrical work is completed by our licensed electricians.
Homeowners with solar, and often a battery or EV, who want their largest loads to run automatically when solar power is available.
Compatibility decides what is possible. Not every inverter, battery or EV charger allows outside control, and some only share data. We confirm what your equipment supports before you commit, so the quote reflects real functions rather than a wish list.
Results depend on your usage habits, tariff, system size and the weather; a HEMS shifts usage toward solar hours but cannot create extra generation. The price depends on the number of controlled loads, sensor locations, switchboard space and the cabling needed for the controller. If you later join a Virtual Power Plant, some battery settings may be managed by the VPP operator, which we help you plan for.
1. Request a quote and list your solar, battery, EV charger and major appliances.
2. We check compatibility and visit to inspect the switchboard and equipment locations.
3. You receive a fixed written quote showing which loads will be controlled and how.
4. Our licensed electricians install the sensors, controller and control wiring.
5. We set priorities and tariff windows and show you how to use the app.
6. We review the settings after a few weeks and fine-tune them with you.
The listed price is an indicative starting price; the final fixed price is confirmed in writing after a compatibility check and site assessment.
Control functions depend on what your inverter, battery, charger and appliances allow.
The system needs a reliable home internet connection for app access and updates.
Additional controlled loads, switchboard upgrades or extra cabling are quoted separately.
Savings depend on usage, tariffs and weather and are not assured.
