A new solar system turns your roof into a daytime power source, so the fridge, lights, pool pump and air-conditioning run on your own electricity rather than power bought from the grid. With grid electricity commonly costing 30-45 c/kWh and feed-in tariffs now only a few cents, the real value comes from using as much of your solar as possible at home. We design each system around your roof, your usage and your budget, using premium JA Solar panels paired with a GoodWe, Fox ESS, Sungrow or Sigenergy inverter.
Our starting point is a 6.6 kW system, from $5,490 installed and after STCs. This is an indicative starting price; your final fixed price is confirmed in writing after a site assessment. Larger systems, such as 8.8 kW, 10 kW and 13.3 kW, are quoted to suit your home.
We never quote from satellite images alone. A member of our team visits your home, checks the roof and switchboard, and talks through how you actually use power, including any plans for a battery or an electric vehicle. That lets us recommend an inverter that can grow with you and avoids surprises on installation day. We use premium equipment only, keep our advice consultative rather than pushy, and stay available after installation if you have questions about performance or monitoring.

STCs: Small-scale Technology Certificates discount new solar at the point of sale, roughly $1,700-$1,800 off a typical 6.6 kW system installed in 2026. We create and assign the certificates for you. Their value steps down each 1 January and the scheme runs to 2030, so confirm current values on the official Clean Energy Regulator pages before signing.
What affects the price: roof type and pitch, storeys and access, shading, switchboard condition, inverter choice and system size. Published Sydney ranges are $4,500-$6,500 for 6.6 kW and $6,000-$8,000 for 8.8 kW, after STCs. As a guide, a 6.6 kW system in Sydney produces roughly 24-27 kWh a day on average. Your network may also set an export limit.

3. You receive a written design and fixed price, with the STC discount already applied.
4. Once you accept, we lodge the grid-connection application and schedule installation.
5. Our SAA-accredited installers fit the system, test it and set up monitoring.
6. We lodge the compliance paperwork and your retailer arranges any meter change needed.

Steep, high, multi-storey or complex roofs may add cost, which is confirmed before you accept.

A suitable smart meter is required, and the meter exchange is scheduled by your retailer.
